A White Steam Car 1906 on loan to Gilbert's Motor Museum, 2024, Strathalbyn Tourism Association

Early European migrants trekked across the Mount Lofty ranges to settle in a valley which they named Strathalbyn. The town became the gateway to the region and the various modes of transport were one of the keys to regional prosperity. Horses, carriages, vintage cars, motorcycles, and bicycles, hear their stories and see them in action.
